Are there any sound issues (loud CD/DVD ejecting sound) like in XPS M1330?

I see alot of complaints on the pricing. But if you looke around you can pick it up at dell.ca for starting price of 449$ I just ordered one with dedicated gfx (8400gs)and webcam+fingerprint reader for 618$. It comes with 1GB 160GB and celeron for that price though. I can easily pop a T8300 for 200$ and 4GB of ram for 80$ I'll just up everything else myself. But I think it's worth it!

Can I order from Dell.ca if I live in the U.S.? The price is MUCH better than the U.S. pricing and the option for the t8300 makes it a done deal.

I just recieved my Vostro 1310 today and so far I'm quite pleased with it. I have to say that most of the cons listed in the review are for sure not deal breakers, the mouse pad so far after a couple hours of use has been kind to my hand. The mono speaker is fine, yeah it could be better but i have no reason to really use the speaker anyway. To be honest the plastics do not feel as cheap and thin as stated, not that they feel unbreakable either. Plus dell canada had a great deal on the 1310 early May so price was great. One last thing, I think the measurements on the vosto's height may be incorrect I just measured mine and found a reading of about 1.45 inches, but I suppose if you include the rubber stubs on the base that whould raise its standing height to about 1.6 inches.

The dell vostro 1310 are on sale now. You can get it with a 9-cell battery, 128MB video card, etc, etc for all under 900$. The prices dropped alot
