Lol, wow that was fast of dell changing the price from $524. Seriously, they must be joking making the 11z the same price has the 1410. No brainer on which one to choose.

Lets see... Acer 1410 that should be getting about 108 wprime and 2,300 pcmark or Dell 11z with screwy touchpad that gets 128 wprime and 1,732 pcmark.

I still think it is a typo. So far most of the reviews on the 11z have been positive. I like the free upgrade to 7 and waiting to see what options Dell comes out with on this machine. I would really like to see the larger battery offered during the build for less than $150.

I changed my order- I swappedout the Dell g wifi card for the Intel N card, & I got the 6600 processor instead of the 4200. Changes were $130 extra but hopefully It will make it a better computer.

Anyone have any experience with the ThermaPAC heat pad that you can get to go under the laptop to keep it cooler? It's supposed to be better than a cooling fan- I ordered one for $23.

She's talking about Inspiron 14, which might make it confusing.

    I made the same mistake.

Islander, it would be handy if your next post is in the Dell Inspiron 14 thread.
