It confuses me to no end what Dell's industrial design team has been doing.

This looks like a $400 consumer notebook that sells at the clearance isle at Officemax.

Worse, and worse reviews... where is comparison of build quality with E6420? Where are tests, where are temperature readings ... notebookcheck.com is really getting to outdo you soon. (well already did).

As the (forced) owner and user of this machine for about a year, I can say that this is by far, without question, the worst business notebook I've ever used in my 18 year career.

    Bar none.

The design is crap. The screen is crap. The durability is crap. The fan is always on.

It is slow, noisy, hot, and oversized. And slow is with 8GB RAM and Win7-64.

I only use it under extreme duress (i.e. have to access corporate secure sites).

Otherwise I use my wife's $300 sub-notebook or my MacBook Pro.
