Every business person needs a good laptop, but it has to properly fit their needs. The 14-inch Dell Latitude 5480 is for those who favor portability over screen size. It doesn't stint on ports though, and has Intel's latest generation of processors.

Why no mention of the USB type C port? This is the only docking option as Dell has dropped the docking connector on the underside. Dell's info says "Display Port Over Type C; optional Thunderbolt3".

How was the brightness of the screen. Other reviews are only getting 200 nits. It will heavily decide my purchase decision :(

Dell claims 220 nits for the FHD panel, which is a serious step backwards and 200 nits is going back 5 or 10 years. Perhaps they think that the 5480 is the cheaper relative of the 7480 and hence deserves a worse quality display. This is a change in thinking from the previous models where the 7 series was the thinner and lighter (and more expensive) version of the 5 series.
