    Dell hasn't released any more info than I put in the article, unfortunately.

    The Precision 7720 should be available in about a month and a half (Feb. 28).

    From what I can tell, it's verbatim the 7710, but with upgraded internals.

    I saw an msi workstation with Pascal (P5000), so new GPUs are coming. I hope that DELL would keep the tradition and include AMD (Polaris) option. They seem to be among the VERY few left that sport AMD GPUs.

    I believe Dell is friendly towards AMD. They are even offering Radeon RX 470 cards in the new Alienware lineup. (See our CES 2017 coverage of that.)

    The Precision 7720 press release specifically mentioned it would have the "Pascal" Quadros.

    Indeed, though the taste is soured considerably by the fact Dell still hasn't fixed the keyboard layout. Home/End are still embedded in the arrow key cluster as secondary functions.
