    I love my 2007FPs, but I'm not spending $1,500 on a monitor.

Props to Dell on keeping 16:10, at least on the 30" and 24". I'm glad not everyone is going for the 16:9 craze.

But I agree with ZaZ, they're pretty expensive. I'm happy with my $300 16:10 U2412M, but that also makes $600 for a 24" rather expensive (and more so than the equivalent previous-gen that was somewhere around $450-$500 IIRC).

Yes, that is the right direction. I'm using a NEC 2490WUXi2 for this reason alone.

I could still see them being purchased by a publishing company, CAD or a video editing company, like the previous Ultrasharps - we have two in the office and they are quite nice!

Dang, I'd love the 27" one. Quite tempted. I've had really good luck with Dell monitors. Even my cheap 24" TN screen's really good (and proves that all TN is NOT the same, since it's better than some IPS frankly, and looks night and day different than like typical TN notebook screens). And it was only a bit over $200! Can't imagine what the ultrasharp looks like :-D
