    WOW!! It has a ....

    Intel® CoreTM Duo Processor T2500 (2GHz, 2MB Cache, 667MHz FSB)

The FSB is 667! Instead of 400 or 533! Is this a duel core processor?

Also it takes DDR II 667 Mhz Ram!!

Man this thing is going to be blazing fast!!!!

EDIT: By the way... anyone know what the heck a Core Duo Processor is???

Thats what I thought... But I was told it wouldn't be comming out till the end of the 1st quarter of this year at the earliest. But you can acutally buy it through dell small business. This laptop is better then the XPS M170. The CPU is better and the RAM is faster and its cheaper. But It does start at $1999 through dell small business.

Well, it was expected. I never did see the point of paying $3000+ for the M170. What I do find odd is the wireless card listed on the site. It says that supports a/g, but it doesn't mention b. Perhaps a typo?

Indeed, formally called Yonah, it compares to a Athlon 64 X2, see this chart:

its the Intel Pro/Wireless 3945 802.11 a/b/g Mini Card Wireless.

i dont think the dual core 2.0ghz pentium can beat a single core 2.26ghz pentium m. so the m170 is still the gaming beast.

the 7800 seems to be a regular ddr1 version, i do like the 5 in 1 media card reader, though.

Well it totally depends in what kind of programs your running. If your doing a lot of multitasking with programs that support the new duel core, I think the 9400 with the 2.0 duo would win over the XPS M170 PM 2.26. But If its one program, one game, the XPS M170 would win. Also I guess the GPU is slightly better in the XPS?
