    You may want to fix the Gateway deal there. It's show the T2060 at 2.6GHz; it actually runs at 1.6GHz.

    I almost want to pick up that tx1000z. It's a good looking laptop, though quite small. I saw one at Best Buy the other day and it looked like I could break it with my finger!

    I ordered a ThinkPad on Saturday. Although they estimated it wouldn't ship until 14 May, it in fact shipped out yesterday. That same day, details on the new ThinkPad T61 are released, which looked darned nice. And now, today:

    Do I have a right to be honked off? Seriously, I think I have a right to at least "peeved..."

    You always have the right to be pissed off at things. However this one is your bad. When you know what you want and have the time, wait for a deal. Don't rush in or this kind of stuff happens. However if I was in your shoes I'd call up Lenovo and see if they will give you the discount. It never hurts to ask.
