    Wow, good deal on the X-series.

    It still amazes me how ThinkPads in general are sold so incredibly cheaply (in the US). Compared to how much ThinkPads cost back in the days, it feels a bit surreal. And I am only talkin MSRP here. If you add the often very good discount promotions, I am lost for words. But the most unbelievable part is how US customers can buy a top of the range ThinkPad for 1/3 of what the similar model would cost in many EU countries. They are even much more expensive in China where they are manufactured.

    But then again Americans get some of the cheapest cars (again often 1/3 of the price in certain EU markets) and fuel too. It really is not fair :)

    Maybe it is time to move to the States and exploit the low prices!

    The dell notebook 1520 looked like a good deal until I put it in the cart and it upped my price 200dollars...I dont think thats tax...plus i applied the coupon
