3D Displays -Using Autostereoscopic Technology, 3D TFT screens are already availablein Notebooks from Sharp.And thebest part is that no"3D Glasses" are required!This parallax barrier technology from Sharp allowsangular seperation of horizontal and verticle lines providing different ways that each eye sees the images on screen. When these images are integrated in the viewer's brain, and image of depth is created in the viewer's brain.

- An NVIDIA Chipset supports the 3D Technology. Many existing software titles (such as 3D games) will be enhanced by this technology without specific coding required for support.
- Educational andMedical fields can benefit from this technology by offering students and patients the ability to "see" images in true 3D.
- ASV Mobile "Advanced Superviewing Mobile" Transflective Screens are used in some PDA's including the Dell AXIM X5 and select iPAQ models. Using this hybrid between reflective and transreflective screen technologies, this display allows some light to come from behind the display and some to enterfrom the front. The end resultis to allow optimum viewing for both indoor and outdoor use for devices which incorporate these displays.
- In answer to consumer's demand for high resolution screens: Sharphas used Polysilicon TFT - "CG Silicon" which offers significantly better performance than the commonly used Polysilicon TFT. But more interestingly, using CG Silicon Technology, semiconductor componentscan actually produce sound (within the actual display). So just imagine your screen producing sound in absence of speakers!
- Larger sized (larger than 20" diagonal) Aquos TV's have "ASV" technology. Dynamic Gamma Correction changes in order to display extensive levels of detail in dark spots to light spots better than any other Flat Panel TV. Special backlight will be upgraded to a twenty year life span before any degradation of the picture occurs. So this is a T.V. you could leave in your will!
- Sharp's LCD panels are all manufactured in3 manufacturing facilities located in Japan.
