Review
Overall a good laptop for the money. does get hot, I am not sure if this was because of burning 3 dvds for recovery. I download the AMD power management utility and tried to run the system on max battery profile ( without the power connection ) and it ran a bit cooler and the fan did not come on
With the power connected the fan is always on and when the processor is working in max power mode, it does get a bit hot. the palm rests get a bit hot too.
The working of the machine itself is very smooth, I was able to run a virus scan, run a video on windows media player and browse at the same time. If I reduced the processor power to medium the video started stuttering.
The design of the laptop is what made me buy it, it is extremely portable and good for its size and the power adaptor is one of the smallest I have seen.
Unfortuantely, it does not have firewire, bluetooth or card readers, which I found very very disappointing. I now understood how they knocked down the price to 499. but overall at this price it is a good laptop
I shall add more comments as I use it more this week
I ran super pi and it took 2m 20s for 1 loop of 32m pi calculations
