Hello all:
I would like to know if anyone knows anything more than "Intel have a driver internally, depending who you ask, and might release it at at unspecified time, if they feel like it" about the Centrino wireless adapter (Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 LAN MiniPCI Adapter).
I've heard several interesting rumours along those lines, but nothing more. Just wondering if anyone knows about support for this device. I know that the rest of the normal CPU functions are supported in Linux, it's just the wireless adapter that worries me...
(This text was actually copied with minor changes from http://kt.zork.net/kernel-traffic/kt20030523_217.html#7, but it reflects very well what I know and feel about this issue right since around May/2003, the last time I researched it.)
Thanks in advance for any interesting pointers or opinions...
