This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    One things was unclear to me. When you select the manual backup option (choosing your own folders and files for backup) is that setting saved? I hate my current backup software (came with my WD external HDD) because I have to select the folders for backup manually every time I want to run a backup or be content with the default settings (which I don't really trust).

    I'm fairly certain it does save the settings. I wrote this review a little over a month ago -- maybe someone who uses this service can fill us in.
