To be honest, I am not very excited for CES 2012.

Last year was exciting as ever because it brought brand new generation of graphics cards, brand new generation of Intel processors, and AMD Fusion was making it's debut after 3 years. Nobody knew what to expect.

    This year it's... ultrabooks. Yippee.

The fact that Intel and AMD have delays with their next-gen processors isn't helping things. That's also why some of the products announced at CES won't be available until JULY of this year!

Still, even with more exciting processor releases, I'm not sure that we'd have true show stoppers at this CES.

That said, some of the upcoming laptops with all-new form factors will turn some heads.

Like stuff I'm under legal obligation not to disclose until Monday, January 9, at 7:30 P.M. EST. ;)

There are multiple new notebooks coming this year that I'm excited to see ... but I'm also eager to see what our readers and forum members think about these new laptops later this year.

    I'm guessing ultrabooks.

I thought AMD managed to figure out their 32nm issues, so we should be seeing Trinity, not that that is particularly interesting. 28nm was so bad they cancelled Wichita/Krishna in favor of whatever comes after that I heard though.

I am excited to see where this goes with the advent of Win8 and new GPU's for the tablets and ultrabooks.
