    An interesting article. I too have pretty much switched to netflix and the occasional Hulu. Only reason why i watch TV anymore is because College Football is on right now, and I could pull the bulk of those games off of ESPN3 if I really wanted too.

    One thing though, you didn't mention that all these cable companies don't just provide phone and television, but also the internet. I imagine once people get wise and go online for their content, these companies will simply jack up their internet prices and ask the government for more taxpayer money.

    Great write up!
    I recently cut the cord from my cable company (save for the internet... sigh) and am much happier with an extra $100 in my pocket every month.

    Right now, I'm only using Netflix and my PS3 browser to replace the content I lost. I don't have as much sports access, but I don't typically watch sports at home anyways, so not an issue for me.
