    Asus will release soon its ASmobile C90S barebone notebook featuring world’s first D-Door design, allowing quick and easy upgrading of the key components like the CPU, graphics card, memory, hard drive, optical drive and wireless components.

    The 15.4-inch widescreen ASmobile C90S desktop replacement barebone laptop supports up to Intel Core 2 Duo E6800 Conroe desktop-use processor, as well as an upgradeable MXM graphic card module, “so users will never have to worry about notebooks becoming out-of-date”.

    ASmobile C90S features a HD DVD and Blu-Ray optical drive and HDMI support, while its e-SATA connector offers 6 times faster speed than normal USB 2.0 data transmissions. The C90S comes with 802.11n support with an integrated antenna and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR. There is also built-in 2.0 megapixel camera, as well as built-in TV tuner option.

    The Asus’ C90S weighs around 6.8 pounds. Its look is based on the IMR (In-mold Roller) high gloss finish technology, according to the laptop maker.

    Currently there is no information on its pricing.

    Asus ASmobile C90S should be showcased at CeBIT show in Hannover, Germany from today to March 21.

    Thanks for the links. I dont know how I missed that lol. Wow the specs on this is very nice. It might just be my alternative 15.4" solution if the G1 dont make a revision. :)

    It has the desktop cpu also and a 8400 go
