ugh! I bet it's comming out very soon. If it comes with the digital tuner for the new standard comming our way in the US it would be a better investment. Oh well. I will ebay mine if that's the case. The nvidia card is worth it to me. When/IF will the W1s come out?

I would wait for it unless you get a great deal riff.

I could get by without a computer for my first semester of class if I wanted to, but I'd rather get it soon and get it over with. That W2 looks too good to be true but it wasn't meant to be. Maybe the next time I'm looking for a laptop, I'll have better luck. Damn you ATI! Get your drivers in order so I can enjoy my Beryl employed Ubuntu to make all bow down before me.

Yeah I figured. Asus wants to make sure their flagship model is the best of the best and only for those willing to fork over 3K.

Looks like I'm going to be stuck in that look but don't touch category for the W2S. Oh, woe is me.

Wow, that W2W (which is already available in the UK and AUS) looks pretty neat. The ATI 2600 GDDDR III 1024MB with TurboCache graphics is especially interesting. I love my W2JB and it seems to run just about anything I through at it respectably. The build quality is phenomenal and it really has a distictively clean look to it. If I decide to upgrade, it will be to a T7600 CPU. I just wish the price would drop a little more! I'm a very happy fan of my laptop but I wonder why Asus sends the new stuff everywhere besides the US first?
