This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Wow, why are people complaining about the lack of discrete graphics on the 13"? Anyone who has seen the size of the motherboard on the MBP 13" knows that its physically impossible. The graphics are terrible; big deal, thats not even a low-priority design goal for the product.

    Got the new 17" with the antiglare screen and 2.3 ghz processor. LOVE it. The screen is worth it alone...

    The screen is great... for a 6-bit TN panel, but definitely not worth the cost of retaining a 16:10 aspect ratio.
