Aorus describes the X3 Plus V5 as “the world's most powerful 13.9-inch laptop”. They’re absolutely correct. However, Aorus is also the only 13.9-inch gaming laptop. But don’t let that detract from the notebook’s prowess as a gaming giant. While we may not have any 13.9-inch laptops to compare the X3 against the device has no issues squaring up with many 14-inch, 15-inch and even 17-inch gaming notebooks.

Aorus has always been known for its propensity to pack a ludicrous amount of power into impossibly small packages and the X3 Plus V5 proves to be no different. Equipped with a sixth generation Skylake processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M GPU the X3 delivers solid performance and a portable 13-inch package. Add in the gorgeous display and you have one of the most attractive ultra slim gaming laptops on the market.

It would be really nice to have more information about the noise levels of this laptop. I'd discounted the earlier versions due to overheating and throttling issues, your review says these are now fixed but give very little information about the noise levels whilst gaming. My wife watches TV in the same room as me, and will complain if the fans are going mental during a gaming session.

Could you possibly add some comparisons to other laptops from a noise perspective? The MSI GS40, and Dell XPS15 for example.
