These look pretty nice, especially the TimeLineX 1830T now with the i7-860UM processor.

The 4820TG with the Radeon HD 5650 is a pretty sweet portable device as well.

So did anything new come out besides the i7 upgrade for the 1830T? I've reread the article several times, but only see one new spec'd machine. Was the 4820TG not available before today? I see threads on it already with plenty of owners, so I'm having trouble understanding what exactly Acer released today.

While I don't mind HD resolution, I also wouldn't mind having the option for HD+ on the smaller laptops...

Hopefully the refresh includes USB 3.0 on the TimelineX. I see nothing about it.

Hmm ... I did a brief search for the i7 cpu 11.6" models on theinternet and could only find the i5 and i3 models available. Are the i7 11.6 models only available in certain countries (i.e. not the US)?

USB 3.0 would be the only reason I'd buy this laptop. SATA III standard for a good SSD would be the icing on the cake. The current gen TimelineX 13inch just seems crippled with the limited I/O capability, despite the good cpu and video card.

    hello all.
i was ok with the 4820tg-3195, but this seems to be not avaiable (amazon, newegg, micro center all out of stock). The one avaiable or upcoming 4820TG-7805 seems to be missing bluetooth. Is there any chance for 3195 to be back again or is it discontinued?

and if to choose 7805 then, how to solve the "no bluetooth" ?
