    Yeah, right. Acer said the same thing about Acer not getting into netbook when EEE PC first came out.

    I reckon they are waiting to see how the market likes the iPad and whatever else comes out to rival it. Maybe if they take off, then we would probably see an acer version.

    Agreed. Acer's poor build quality+Small portable device you are suppose to carry around everywhere = Trouble

    Hmm that's weird, last time I check my 4 + year old acer is still running strong even after being in the destructive hands of my 15 year old brother for 2 years. I believe he even had a heavy receiver fall on it not too long ago and it still works perfectly fine.

    It'd be interesting to see if Acer actually does make one, like bangert said, they are probably waiting to see how the market responds.

    Acer has actually gained quite a large name, and making a statement like that puts it down, I once thought the same, but now, I think Acer is quite good.
