The Aspire 3935 is a 4.18-pound notebook featuring a 13.3-inch display (1366x768 resolution) with LED backlighting. It is based on the Intel Centrino 2 platform and is powered by a Core 2 Duo processor. Notable features include a multi-gesture touchpad and fingerprint reader. With a 2.0GHz processor, Vista Home Premium, 3GB of RAM, and a 250GB hard drive, it retails for $899.99. It is available now via Acer's authorized resellers and major retailers nationwide.

The Aspire 8935G is a large 18.4-inch notebook aimed at the multimedia crowd. Like the 3935 it is also based on the Intel Centrino 2 platform. The 8935G features ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 graphics, a Blu-ray drive, and an LED-backlit display with a 1920x1080 resolution. With an 8-cell battery, it tips the scales at 10.1 pounds. The 8935G will be available in the U.S. in June 2009; pricing has not been announced.

Wow, I never saw this coming. First HP with their new elegant designs, and now Acer. I can't help but wonder; did these companies steal the designers from Sony or what? Oh how the table have turned. :D

Pricing may not be announced by Acer US, but Acer Canada's got 8935G configurations in prices from $1,399 Canadian to a whopping $2,099 for the two-500GB-hard-drive, Core 2 Quad configuration.

Wow, the 3935 looks really good. I love how the Timeline series looks, but I need more CPU power.

This could be the replacement to my M1330 when it becomes available in Canada....

Does anyone know what GPU it has?

    >edit< never mind...found out it is an Intel 4500MHD, so that rules out this laptop
