Acer Aspire One 8.9" Going Out, 10.1" On the Way
A DigiTimes report alleges that Acer may phase out its popular 8.9-inch Aspire One netbook in the second quarter of this year, which will be replaced by the upcoming 10.1-inch version. Acer has contracted Quanta and Compal, the world's first- and second-largest notebook manufacturers respectively, to produce its netbooks.

The battery life has reportedly improved by 1/2 hour to three hours and seven hours with the three- and six-cell batteries respectively.

It will be nice to see the 10.1" Acer. I think I like the look's of the 10.1" over the 8.9" thus far.
