I'll have to do a search and read up on 3D displays as I'm not sure what they are exactly, and anything new, if any, they bring to the table over current displays. Do they need 3D glasses? It seems to be a new trend nonetheless, I've heard even 3D televisions are coming to market.

Until they get rid of the need for 3D glasses, I can't really see this taking off. It is nice tech but something about how the glasses work make people sick.

New thing they use is a 120Hz screen to give you the 3D effect.
I don't see it catching on, it's one thing to watch a movie in 3D but gaming, I don't think so.
Other problem is the need for the special glasses, how about those that already use prescription glasses, you think there going to wear 2 pairs.
It's not cheap and it only caters to a very small niche market.

Hey, it's not a GTX 360M in the Asus, it's a crappy GTS 360M, which is worse than GTX 260M that we had in $1000 notebooks 1 year ago.

I don't understant this, it's difficult to find notebooks with better graphics than 1 year ago!
