Can you recommend a laptop sleeve?
The pic of the cooling on page 2 is the most impressive thing I've seen on a laptop in a while.
I wonder why they didn't use one huge power supply instead of two smaller ones. -
it's understandable that the power brick will be heavy and huge. but two power bricks? that negates the very purpose of laptop design - a simplicity in its setup.

The reason for two power supplies is because the second one is only necessary if you're ocing your cards if I remember correctly. It's not necessary to go to say... class at university, but it is if you're planning to do heavy gaming with an OC or heavy rendering. Even then, it's still quite portable compared to a desktop fleshed out with similar equipment. -
Ahbeyvuhgehduh Lost in contemplation....
Umm ... wow. That's ... big. ._.

Great review for a gigantic laptop, love the power but turned off by the size, truly a desktop replacement.

I think the reasoning for the two power supplies is that one 330W would have to run at almost 100% capacity to power the notebook, whereas two would run at ~50% each. Less heat and more efficient, and the PSU's will likely last longer.

Somehow a laptop like this make much more sense than a 10-12 pound laptop which while powerful is too big to bring along as a daily companion. This one is big and heavy as hell and make no excuses about it. If you buy it you buy it to use on a desk. And if still being desk-bound, why not add as much power as possible?
This laptop also reminded me of this picture:
