ASUS has partnered with A-DATA to introduce new products using the new USB 3.0 standard. USB 3.0 has a maximum data transfer rate 10x that of the current USB 2.0 technology.

The first product is the A-DATA NH01 USB 3.0-complaint external hard drive, which also has an eSATA port. It will be available in multiple colors with up to 640GB capacity. Also introduced was the N002 external USB 3.0 drive with SATA II. The company demonstrated the product reading and writing data at 200MB/s and 170MB/s, respectively.
There was no word on pricing of availability, but expect to see the new products available soon.
