This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Quite well, if i was in the market for a netbook right now the NC20 and 1000HE would be the top choices.

    no problem ALSO even though it isnt a netbook take a strong look at HP's DV2

    Is there some kind of glass ceiling that's keeping the NC20 ranked as a netbook while the dv2 gets to be promoted to "isn't a netbook"? ;]

    I think 10" should be the cutoff for a true "netbook" tag, unless they're able to make a 12" really small and light.

    Personally I'm looking at the NC10, 1000HE and maybe the Dell Mini 10. They all look like winners.
