    I just find this kind of funny, esp. since I frequently hear people talking about the differences in notebooks btwn the US and Europe, is because Europe is willing to pay more to get exactly what they want, where as in the US we want the best deal for our money, yet Celeron, arguably the worst set of processors ever mass produced is outselling AMD Athlons.

    really quite interesting, maybe AMD slipped in its marketing efforts in Europe. Intel is still a better recognized brand name worldwide than AMD so if an AMD processor is put side-by-side with a Celeron and a consumer doesn't know much different they'll likely go for the Intel over the AMD..."Intel Inside" is still a powerful slogan.
