The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. Putting my personal (or business) financial data on someone else's servers is just *asking* for trouble...

How do you trust that someone won't take a peek at that data? Can you trust their servers to be completely secure?

Absolutely no need for these cloud type services or really any other types as long as you have a modicum of knowledge. With storage solutions well below $1/GB and with FREE programs available to help you set up your own personal cloud service with a NAS, the fact that sheeple routinely pay someone else to give away their privacy absolutely astounds me.
