Has anyone heard about the new 19" laptop screens coming out soon? Dell next year, I believe, but others are already advertising. I hope they figure out a way to lighten the load!

Clevo already has one out, it's being marketed by resellers as their own such as Alienware, Eurocom, Sager, etc..

A 19" laptop??!? Sounds like an oxymoron :D

Different strokes for different folks I guess! That's like the size a tv these days, jk.....Bet it would be great for graphics though....

Those are all the same machine.
It's made by Clevo, who is the ODM for a lot of other companies. Most of the laptops from Alienware are Clevo chassis.

I'm trying to get one from hypersonic and or savrow for reviewing purposes and if I do I will post my review here as well as elsewhere. Savrow seems interested in letting me borrow one.

errrr I know this may sound stupid but....

isnt the idea of a 19" SLI capable notebook a tad moronic based on the fact that A) It will never be portable B) The cooling system has to be ubserdly good C) There are few advantages to it.

It seems they are too expensive to get it in notebook form. The only advantage i see to it is LAN parties, in which case: Giggity giggity goo!
