    screen problem

    i dropped my computer with it open today, and now the screen is flemsy... i know what the problem is... on the right side were the screen mounts up to the computer brace or something broke right there, and the left side is still good... how do i go abt replacing the one on the right or what do i do lol... does any one know what thats called???

    also its a hp pavilion 5000

    you´re talking of the hinges ?
    these can be replaced.you should google for it. what is actually broken, the hinges themselves or the cover of the hinges ?

    the cover popped loose.. i popped it back in place... the hinge was broke inside of the cover... how do i replace them without messing my pc up?

    first identify what part really is broken, then check the hp manuals how to repair this part. HP has manuals for that.

    after you know you can do it yourself you should watch where to get the spare part cheap.
    Hinges are sold a lot at ebay.
    If you think you can´t do it yourself, better let it someone else do.
