Hello everyone, I am building a laptop with a thin mini itx and I was wondering if i could get help with a few questions.
    1. Where can I find a touch screen replacement for the razer blade pro and would I still be able to convert it to a mouse?
    2. I want to buy just a 17-22" LCD kit depending on what keyboard i can find with a low depth but they are scattered and most are questionable in quality. Does anyone have a site they can recommend for just a spare LCD KIT with LVDS.

You can usually search up the brand behind the Razer Blade Pro's screen on ebay to get the same quality. Depending on whether or not you're using Windows, I can't give you a confirmation on whether or not you can use both, but you definitely can on Windows 7 and 8-8.1, they have a specific setting in the Control Panel for using both touch screen and mouse.

I think you'd have to configure them a little bit differently if you're making an OSBox or using Linux :)

Hello, and thanks for the response! I'm debating between windows 7 or windows 8.1. Also, I have tracked the screen down, but I cannot find the touch pad anywhere or the pin out information. How would i go about doing this?

I mean, what size of display are you REALLY looking for, cause I don't think the 17" Razer Blade Pro has a touch screen if that is what you're asking. It's fairly common to get a 14" touchscreen of similar caliber if that is what you're asking, I mean practically every 13-14" mid-class ultrabook/chromebook has a pretty decent touchscreen nowadays.

Well, I'm flexible on the display I haven't ordered it yet + the lvds controller. Do you know where I can buy an affordable 14"-15" touch screen with a lvds/hdmi hook up?

Where do you get cases for laptop builds? I didn't even know there are standards for MBs, etc.
