    @Lolface0512 there are a couple major problems with such total conversions - keyboard, touchpad, battery. Even if you put a modern compact mainboard and cooling inside, and make ports (through extenders, probably) - these problems will remain. Also, you won't fit any good display inside that chassis anyway.

    If you really wanted to you could, but wouldn't be better to buy a new laptop that has a somewhat retro look?
