i got something sticky on the lid of my new inspiron and it wont come off, even with water. :( does anyone know how to take care of the colored inspiron lids to fix these kinds of accidents and prevent new ones?

Try rubbing alcohol. It's enough to get the sticky stuff off, but not enough to rub out the paint.

Goo gone may also be useful; make sure to test in hidden area first.
