    anyone acutally bought one and stuck it to their lappy?

    ...would if offer any protect what-so-ever? apart from the normal ones a sticker would do, like scratches and stuff like dat.

    heya,

    yep i've seen dat one..does not real carbon fibre though. thats just vinyl with the print that looks like carbon fibre, sort of like the asus-g1 which is plastic with the 'carbon-fibre' look.

    what i meant was, acutally buying a semi-flexiable (for the edges)/ or plate carbon fibre and sticking it onto the notebook

    stuff like this

    If you want to go that route, then go all the way and make an actual CF lid. That's what I would do... more work but DANG! it would be sweet!! I don't think it is that different from fiberglass to work with.

    Don't know of anyone using actual CF on a notebook. That sheet stuff looks cool. If you go that route please let us know how it turns out :)

    hmmmmmm *wheels turning* I wonder if I have another notebook laying around somewhere ;)
