I like to customize my own stuff alot, and can I just buy the same paper that schtickers and skinit use and make my own with a printer?

Yes and no - its just vinyl. To do a custom design, there are a number of companies that will print your images but it can be pricey. As for just sticking in a sheet of vinyl and using your home printer, that wont work
Edit: I didnt realize schtickers has custom images. If you want a custom image then just upload your own there -
you can also order just a blank skin from the skin customizers from skinit and schtickers

Search for inkjet printable vinyl, the low tack stuff is basically the same thing they use, similar to bumper sticker type vinyl but much much less sticky. Unfortunately finding it larger than 8.5 x 11 is the tricky part. Most local stationary companies can probably special order the stuff for you too.
can u buy the paper used for schtickers/skinit?
