I just saw your thread, so I am assuming many others haven't seen it yet. Nice job. Did you paint any parts other than the outside of the lid?

Laptops with custom paint jobs are awesome, and yours is no exception.

When I painted my M18xR2 a Corvette pearl yellow there were a lot of questions about how to do it, so you might get some of those as more people find your thread.

I pretty much only paint the outside. Here are the other ones I did:

Wow, what a beautiful 'vette. And, Rainier is a majestic background. I miss the PACNW. I lived in WA and OR for about 30 years before moving to the dust bowl.

Those are some great laptop paint jobs. I see you had other threads for past projects. Here was another one I noticed. http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/im-back-with-another-custom-paint-job.756251/

Yeah, my old M18xR2. Extraterrestrial Encounter: Alienware Custom Paint Job

Alienware used to make some great products back in the day, and I used to really love them.

Now... THAT is a well done laptop! Outside really brings out the colors. Well done video too. I enjoyed it. :notworthy:

Thank you. That was an excellent laptop in so many ways. I no longer own it because parts are scarce and GPU upgrades are no longer possible (due to incompatible GPUs).

I never wanted to leave the PACNW in the first place, but family needs always take priority over personal preference. Thanks for the link. I'll have a closer look at your web site and enjoy the photos.

Edit: Man, these are breathtaking gorgeous photos, and I especially like the shots with the bald eagles. Amazing work, bro. http://1-4u-computer-graphics.com/MOUNTAINS-SCENERY.htm

@Papusan would probably enjoy your photography as well. Very beautiful scenery, like Norway (where he is from).

Thank you... I'm a longtime UW Husky Alumni and their colors are Purple and Gold. Every football season I bring out all my purple stuff.
