I have Dell 15R 5521 and i want to replace the factory 1366x768 monitor, with the 1920x1080 Full HD monitor.

Here are the links for comparisons. The only thing i can think of that i may need, is the monitor ribbon, do to different location of the plug on the monitor it self.

My Monitor: Dell INSPIRON 15R 5521 Notebook Display Replacement | LAPTOP & TABLET LCD SCREEN FROM $34.99.

New HD Monitor: Dell INSPIRON 15R 7520 SPECIAL EDITION Notebook Display Replacement | LAPTOP & TABLET LCD SCREEN FROM $34.99.

    Thanks in advance.

The connector on the board itself may be different, so check that, too - 1366x768 uses fewer pins than 1080p.

I decided to spend the money on a better back pack instead.

Thanks for the heads up on the pins.
