I'm currently interested in purchasing a whitebook, most likely from Asus, Compal, or MSI. Something I've noticed when looking at pictures of these notebooks is that they all seem to have a small indentation on the center of the lid for a logo. My question is, do they generally come with a customizable insert for this part or do they have to be custom-made (and if so, are the dimensions standarized and what are they?)? It would be kind of cool to put a name for my computer there something. I hope this is in the right forum... thanks guys!![]()

Right forum but I don't have an answer.
I bet if you contact one of the retailers or aftermarket painters they could tell you. Most are very helpful. -
Thanks for the reply! I'm sure somebody will turn up with some knowledge on the subject.

nope you've got to make your own, or get one of those online companies to make you one, but they usually are cheaper if you order in bulk, but then again why would you need so many custom logos? just one right -
Yeah it'd be nice to just get one... Any idea how expensive we're talking about? And what companies would do this? I could probably make one myself if i knew the dimensions... I guess I wouldn't know till I got one.. if I got one.
