Laptop: z61t. Normal cover, not titanium

Materials: Krylon fusion white, krylon gloss, 1200 grit sandpaper, mothers sealer and polish, turtle wax rubbing compound, turtle wax platinum gloss wax

    Time: 2 days

Stuff I would do differently if I could: let the paint set more before handling(a few finger prints on the paint), tape better, use better clearcoat, polish more.

Other comments: Thanks for the dude who posted the tutorial on how to paint his laptop on here, and this guy http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1400014. And your welcome for the other random pics!

can't really tell how well the paint cured from the small pix. from lookin at yur pix tho, it looks like it came out pretty nice.

not sure how different a car and a notebook is, but have u tried wet sandin or buffin the imperfections out? if they're not too deep? good luck with that.

I have tried wet sanding. However, the finger print marks that I made were like......4 layers deep into the paint. I would have had to sand right down to the bottom. Not worth the effort, especially since the mark was on the bottom of the laptop.

    Did you prime first?

    Did you clear coat after?

How is it wearing on the part that see use?

    Sorry for the questions..

    The paint job looks great!

Congrats on a really nice job done, JW

    No prime, just sanded

Yes, 4 layers of clear cost + rubbing compound + polish + wax

Holding up well, but I'm not using it too much right now
