What is the best thing that anybody has found to simply use on the lid so as not to get your computer all scratched up?

I am thinking about just using some nice-looking contact paper or something of that nature. The only issue would be the residue but I don't imagine that using those alcohol wipes would do any damage so that should be ok.

    Any other suggestions?
