Hi, I've got an U32VJ notebook and want to replace the stock HDD Seagate ST9500325AS with an SSD. I've checked the HDD spec and it's 9mm in height, but the SSD I want to fit is 7mm. Will that be problem during the installation? I don't want the SSD to rattle inside.

    Thanks

You could use cardboard *lol* or buy a 7mm to 9mm caddy.

I haven't open it yet, but do you know at all if the HDD is screwed to the frame?

Have you tried using google to find a service manual?
