    Hi all!

After owning my alienware laptop for about 1 year and a half now, I decided that the U3 cooling pads were not enough for my laptop, and I wanted a bit more cooling so that the stock coolers can take a break when the machine is at bay.

https://skydrive.live.com/view.aspx...df&app=WordPdf&wdo=2&authkey=!ANma1cNhSGYmcXA (this is a link to a shared pdf file via skydrive. The reason for this is because the file was too big to post on forums)

I created a the whole "logbook" of what I did for explanations in case anyone else wants to try the same thing and see the difference for themselves. (Link posted above)

Please do have a look and feel free to comment and give advice/criticism! This is my first "official" mod so I'm not really too sure how things go, but I tried my best. I'll be sure to take more pictures next time (when I get round to do another mod XD ). Be sure to give a like as well! :p

    Thanks!
    RT

Nice mod, long read detailed too!

Looks good, but a bit of work to make it though.

Thanks for taking the time to read it :)

It actually did not take very long - a few hours at most. Which, for my first mod I don't think is too bad :)
I suppose the PDF makes it look long - I wrote a lot of it for my own reference as well as to make it very detailed. I want to try making more kinds of mods and give detail so that others can make them if they wish to.

I may update the document and upload one which is a little more 'user friendly' :)
