Nice. I think you just said a racist term against Alienware owners or anyone that likes the look
-
-
I wasnt really accusing or anything. Was just confusing to get linked to an article about a racist term
I dont think he meant it as in a super mean way but it was kind of strange -
-
They may have made the "look" mainstream, but the style is derived from Sony. -
I, for one, like this idea of "copying 'Apple'". Make Apple get off their lazy bum and design (or steal) something else. Hate it when things get stagnant in consumer laptops.

There is just so much extra, over-the-top bling and air-vents and colors and yadda-yadda on it. that it just looks too much like a toy to take it seriously. I really wish they would tone it down about 5 notches with the case design. -

Bring out the design awards!!!

This has probably already been posted but I love this design as well.
SAMSUNG Series7
In fact I think I am very close to buying one with a 6750m graphics card. Not bad considering it has 7 hours of battery life. -
Asus G73
-
The Ideapad Y470 is a nice-looking laptop. Orange trim and a subtle purple tint on the inside.
Makes me think that Lenovo loves Clemson -
The design of the Asus g73 is just so great!
-
Well thinkpads are still tied for first, Im going to have to enter my m4600 to a tied for first status. Sleek and modest, yet has some of the coffee shop flare without the gawdy apple look. Basically at the limit of flash I can handle, while still business enough to make me foam at the mouth with excitement every time I pull it out of my bag.
-
I like the looks of old dell latitude E Series, the E6400!
-
I like this the most. None of that played out black, white, or silver color. It's a shame Sony can't make a competent laptop to save their downfall. -
That Z looks pretty cool, but the accessories don't match it and I could see the blue getting old, whereas the Gold has the perfect amount of flashiness but understated style. -
I still like blurple.
-
It's a nice color, but it's a little loud.

I like how the ASUS G73 and G75 look. There are several reasons. #1 it turns heads, but not because of a light show it is because they just look good. #2 the rubber matte finish....just so good #3 it is huge, so it is difficult to steal and conceal.

+1 to Samsung Series 9 (2nd gen). Looks simple and clean, yet sophisticated at the same time.

It is HUGE ~~ -
Personally I like the look of the GT70. -
Checkered Flag Exterio MSI FX 600
MSI Global ? Notebook - FX600 -
Oh god so awesome to read this thread haha, it's basically a war with words
-
That MSI GT70 is awesome looking. I would get one if it had an expresscard slot. I really like how they put the power and HDMI on the REAR about time someone built a notebook how they should be.

My 2 cents;
1) Looks can be deceiving
2) Going off of 1), like people, it's not what's on the outside, but on the inside that counts
That said; Sager all the way. Price / Normal looks / Tough Build / Newest Tech -
Lol -
i'd have to say from a pure visual standpoint the razer blade. though i would rather the green used throughout be a different color.
i would never actually buy one though b/c its underpowered for my uses and a razer product, they dont have the best reputation for build quality/qc -
Sorry I have to... -
Eh, maybe people who want simple styling, sure, I can see the MBP as being good-looking. Though personally, I think it looks generic and not special anymore (since a lot of people focus on it and/or have it).
-
While I agree that under the hood is more important, looks and feel are about as important. I not only need to use my laptops internals, but I also have to look at the exterior all day and night while I work and play.
-
I think looks are important to a point. If it's bright pink with yellow polka dots and purple fuzzies on it but stomps all over a top end Alienware performance, would I want it? Probably not. But if it's between a Clevo or MSI or Alienware, well it's all personal preference. I don't care for the flashy lights of the Alienware or MSI, but that's just me.
-
The Razer Blade hands down, we do not look upon price or hardware, just the looks.

Personally I think ASUS-Automobili Lamborghini VX7SX & M17X-R2 is pretty cool looking.
-
I think the new Dell XPS15s look pretty decent, certainly way better than the last model.
Alienwares are pretty silly, though the m11x grill would be more reasonable than other car looking grills they have. If only I didn't want a 680m/7970m, all the gaming laptops seem less than ideal.
Oh man if Apple would only stick a high end video card in their case... -
-
-
-
but can it play... ? oh... it doesn't play anything.
The best looking notebook, period.
