I'd take em off, but its up to you. The best way to remove them is to pull them off and then use the sticker itself or duct tape to remove most of the residue. Then use a fingernail to remove most of the residue. I would not use any sort of solvent except as a last resort.

It's up to you... Some people want the stickers (to show off what's inside their laptop) and others remove them right away.
I took mine off when I got my laptop. Like vespoli said, just pull it off. They're not very hard to remove.

roflol, ok, my brain is malfunctioning today
I had to sit here for a minute trying to figure out what stickers you are talking about. Then I was like, oh yeah, Duh!?!?

Anyway, if my response is any indication you can guess I say take them off.

Then, if it was my notebook I would cover the whole thing in shiny automotive finish goodness :)

I went to the tanning salon about a month ago. And got a playboy bunny sticker (you know, to see the difference in color on the skin).

I placed the bunny on the palm rest of my Vaio. It stayed for about 2 weeks and wore off.

But the "spirit" of the bunny still lives on! There is a faint image of him still.

If it's a retail laptop, I'll take off the "explanatory" stickers and leave on the Windows logo, CPU logo, and GPU logo, just so everyone knows how cool my laptop is.

It's the two big black stickers on the palm rests and the one close to the camera that I was contemplating taking off.

I think it's more of a personal preference.

You should take those big stickers off. I thought you were talking about those little rectangle ones on the right side. Those stickers I keep because if you plan to sell your laptop, buyers will be more inclined to buy laptops that seem newer and were left in their original condition. And those stickers also tell you the graphics card you are using, processor, etc. The stickers that touch your palm isn't important because that'll only get dirty and sticky as your palm rub across it when you type. I would definitely remove those. But like other said, it comes down to personal preference. I remove the palm rest stickers and I keep the rest. =]

Yeah, take the large stickers off. They'll peel off at some point in time anyway.

I would take any large sticker from manufacturer off. But leave intel, ati/nvidia, and windows stickers.

Haha yeah I thought you were talking about the small stickers.
Take off the big ones for sure! No reason to keep those.
Keep the small ones if you want. I take mine off but some prefer to keep them.

Yes, definitely take them off. I'm not sure why you would even consider leaving them on! ;) As Jetstar said, they'll eventually fall off anyway.
