WOW dude, that looks amazing...I wish I had the skill to do something like that!

I tried spray painting an old mobile phone housing once and it looked good for like a second, then the paint just started peeling and chipping off almost immediately.

    Good job.

When your can of paint is spray paint waiting 10 minute and 30-40 cantigrade degrees(85-105 fahrenheit) hot water and nicely shaken up, lay down a coat of color. I recommend going back and forth, releasing the nozzle after every spray and overlapping sprays. Hold the can about 8-12 inches (20-25 centimetre) from the surface and spray. A way to minimize orange peel, chipping or little holes that appear on the paint as it dries is by laying down thin layers of paint many times.

Not sure, but one of these could work. My lappy's black.

Not sure if i should make the box glossy, or just keep it standard black. It's a thinkpad, so has a nice texture to it...

    Nice
Personally I think the gray logo would look better on black, and it is a little different to the usual red logo

As for glossy or not, personally I don't like the gloss on my notebook too much.
Scratches very easily and very prone to finger prints

    But it's up to you
Really looking forward to the finished product, when you do it

use the polyester putty for embed, and use the sandpaper(800-1200)

    ATTENTION
: Don't use the water and waterproof sandpaper
