EDIT: Looks like you did a nice job.
I've never been a good painter. I once tried to paint a bike without disassembling in -
WOW dude, that looks amazing...I wish I had the skill to do something like that!
I tried spray painting an old mobile phone housing once and it looked good for like a second, then the paint just started peeling and chipping off almost immediately.
Good job. -
Try,Try,Try... -

Level - 2 ; waterproof sandpaper (P400A) apply to all surface again

gary_hendricks Notebook Evangelist
looks great. but i think a spiderman theme (gray/sliver/black/red)
would have been better. -
Kamin_Majere =][= Ordo Hereticus
I like it, you do nice work. +1
Though obviously a Batman theme would be superior -

WOW super job guy but how does it hold up after a little while seems every time i have spray painted something it chips and peels after about a month i have been considering spraying my old lappy but havent because im scared it wont hold up but yuh let me know how the long term results are and any paticular brand of paint you like to use
-
Beautiful work man. I may try to hook up a black glossy coat on my work laptop. Then find a black/grey superman sticker. We'll see if I'm feeling brave
-
i can creat for you -
Keep us updated if you decide to go through with it -
Not sure, but one of these could work. My lappy's black.
Not sure if i should make the box glossy, or just keep it standard black. It's a thinkpad, so has a nice texture to it... -
Nice
Personally I think the gray logo would look better on black, and it is a little different to the usual red logo
As for glossy or not, personally I don't like the gloss on my notebook too much.
Scratches very easily and very prone to finger prints
But it's up to you
Really looking forward to the finished product, when you do it -
True. So i'll probably just need to pick up a sticker.
-
I think that would be how to do it
Not too sure because, I haven't customized my notebook.
But I will pimp it out one day -
Awesome man! Anything possible to be done on a Sony VGN NS15G's patterrned body? Its not plain, some pattern is embedded over it.
-
ATTENTION: Don't use the water and waterproof sandpaper -
janavar. where would i find the superman decals?
