    Sweet, do they make a specific one for any 17 inch dells (9400/E1705)? I googled it but can't find anything.

    It is the same stuff made by 3M to protect your cars paint. A lot of manufacturers are offering on cars to protect the leading edge of doors and the front 3" or so of the hood. You can order it and cut it to match the specifics of your laptop :D

    how about a picture of the socalled film on your W3J as the pics in the ebay does not load, it looks promising if it can protect the palmrest

    yea unfortunetly I didn't follow through :) didn't have the $20 after I bought SO MANY accessories for the W3J
