The printer was in a not-so-much-takin-up-room place on the desk, so everything fit - now, I have no use for the Server to go on the desk, it's in the wardrobe -
Let's play a game, can you count how many laptops there are in the pics?
And how many of them are working properly? LolzAttached Files:

1. some sort of Acer?
2. Gateway?
3. no idea :S
4. Dell adamo?
5. HP Dv5t?
6. Dell (inspiron 15)?
7. Toshiba
8. coolermaster custom desktop?
LOL @ random guesses... -
didnt see the diff between 6 and 7 tho. -
Number 3 is a Vaio.
-
My god, how many laptops do you want?! lol
-
and 3 definitely a vaio possibly an AR series
it would be so much easier if they were open -
^ o lol i thought he said how many computers...my bad
didnt really know that the 3rd was a sony, nice eyes. i personally thought the #3 was a textbook or something. i was thinking #5 was either a HP Dv6700t or Dv5t, couldn't decide which one lol.
anyways, nice bunch of laptops haquocdung -
Lolz guys, There are 8 laptops & 1 desktop and here it is: (i know the 9th one are hardest to find, I should put there the Dell Adamo instead)
1. VAIO FS630W (amazingly it's still holding strong after 5 years)
2. HP dv6000 (Yes, the graphic card got fired)
3. VAIO F115M (bought 4 weeks ago)
4. Dell adamo (The last line of keyboard is not working, idk how to fixed)
5. HP Dv5t (Power plug doesnt work ...)
6. VAIO Z520N (My main laptop to carry to school)
7. Toshiba Satellite U350 (Working but have a lot of bad disc sector, battery is death anyway)
8. Desktop in my sig
9. Toshiba Satellite M115 (working)Attached Files:

Conclusion, buy a VAIO if you dont want your laptop to fail on you -
Hey, my IBM X20 thinkpad is still going strong after about 6 - 7 years! hehe

I keep it around to configure routers and such. Plus, I have the urge to boot up every now and again to play Oregon Trail. -

Lets add to the fun, and keep the bs to a minimum.
I know y'all dont use those 15 yr old systems everyday.
My oldest working system is a Northgate laptop with an Intel 80286 clocked at 12Mhz. It is in a laptop about 4 inches thick. It has a 7" lcd I think. It is black and white only. It has a cirrus logic graphics card which is 128kb. The harddrive is a 40-120mb seagate. It has a compression feature which changes the harddrive capacity from 40mb to 118mb or so.
It still holds a charge and runs DOS 5.something.
I use it every once and a while to get a hang of autocad before there was such thing as computer mice. It is awfully hard, and it is crucial to keep track of all of the coordinates or else you mess up.

ScifiMike12 Drinking the good stuff
The lighting in my basement sucks. Only two bulbs, both are CFL.
The rig at the right is my backup computer for which is not working at the moment. Had to replace the PSU, so I'm waiting getting a new one. I got a new 20" LCD (next to the CRT). Looks great and only paid $85 after cashback. -
nice setup scifimike!

Thanks guys for you all compliments. It was a simple setup at my student hostel. I purposely match my 2 white 30 watts speakers & subwoofer (by MEDION) with my alpine white Dell Inspiron 1420 and Logitech V470 Laser Mouse for Bluetooth (White).

lol i hate when laptops have the jack at the front, i mean seriously...sure it's better for headphones but how hard is it to put headphones in the side rather than the front? and how pleasing is it to put a speaker cable in the front rather than the back? i think the benefits of the side win against the front-styled jacks...
nice white setup though, Germans always have a simple yet sophisticated sense of style. my dad works in a German company, Bosch, and he travels around the world. when we went to Germany, we stayed at a lot of his friend's houses and they were so awesomely simple, yet had such a magnificent effect! -
Affirmative, I do agree with you on this point of having jack at the side is better than having it at the front of the laptop. Initially, I thought that it would be nice to have the jack at the front as I only thought of having headphone jack at the front is better than the side way. However, I forgot to consider the speaker cable that may looks ugly if I insert it at the front jack.
Actually, I am a Malaysia student who study at Germany. Like what you have said in the last post, Germany is a simple country and yet have a remarkable aesthetic value. -

Lol. Damn dude. So we finally see where it all happens. I feel computer companies should be paying you a sponsoring fee for the benching.
Nice setup bro! -
