    Yep, Sure could... Surprisingly.

The printer was in a not-so-much-takin-up-room place on the desk, so everything fit - now, I have no use for the Server to go on the desk, it's in the wardrobe :)

I got you beat. My Toshiba 420CDS is going strong after....I don't really want to know. Mid 90's? The battery even still holds a charge and will work wirelessly. Not a fun task in Win98.

I keep it around to configure routers and such. Plus, I have the urge to boot up every now and again to play Oregon Trail.

I got you both beat. I had an old 486 from 1992/1993 that was still going strong when I gave it away. I had gotten it from a friend of the family back in 2003. All the components were original with the exception of the CD-ROM and a RAM upgrade.

Lets add to the fun, and keep the bs to a minimum.
I know y'all dont use those 15 yr old systems everyday.
My oldest working system is a Northgate laptop with an Intel 80286 clocked at 12Mhz. It is in a laptop about 4 inches thick. It has a 7" lcd I think. It is black and white only. It has a cirrus logic graphics card which is 128kb. The harddrive is a 40-120mb seagate. It has a compression feature which changes the harddrive capacity from 40mb to 118mb or so.
It still holds a charge and runs DOS 5.something.
I use it every once and a while to get a hang of autocad before there was such thing as computer mice. It is awfully hard, and it is crucial to keep track of all of the coordinates or else you mess up.

The rig at the right is my backup computer for which is not working at the moment. Had to replace the PSU, so I'm waiting getting a new one. I got a new 20" LCD (next to the CRT). Looks great and only paid $85 after cashback. :)

Logitech Illiminated keyboard and Logitech G9x. I originally had the regular G9 but Logitech happily upgraded it since the grip was wearing down. Wasn't a big deal to me but a free upgrade to something newer, I'll take it. :D

lol i hate when laptops have the jack at the front, i mean seriously...sure it's better for headphones but how hard is it to put headphones in the side rather than the front? and how pleasing is it to put a speaker cable in the front rather than the back? i think the benefits of the side win against the front-styled jacks...

nice white setup though, Germans always have a simple yet sophisticated sense of style. my dad works in a German company, Bosch, and he travels around the world. when we went to Germany, we stayed at a lot of his friend's houses and they were so awesomely simple, yet had such a magnificent effect!

:) Affirmative, I do agree with you on this point of having jack at the side is better than having it at the front of the laptop. Initially, I thought that it would be nice to have the jack at the front as I only thought of having headphone jack at the front is better than the side way. However, I forgot to consider the speaker cable that may looks ugly if I insert it at the front jack. :(

Actually, I am a Malaysia student who study at Germany. Like what you have said in the last post, Germany is a simple country and yet have a remarkable aesthetic value.
