I have the 2 full size ones, one is Megatron, the other Optimus Prime (one of the perks of my GF working at a movie theater that summer :) - got a lot of cool posters)

That's cool, as is the transformers poster! I just needed some new ones and saw that :)

It is a scythe, it's a plastic one from halloween.

Only really noteworthy equipment is the 1980 Wharfdale speakers under the table. Otherwise it's all fairly self explanatory.

Look at those TN view angles :D :D

I should get pics of the new setup taken, its not messy but I have not done any cable management behind the monitors and there are a lot of things back there.

I'll wait till I find a open day to install Win7 then get new pics up.

I know, I am happy with 2 WUXGA monitors now. It is so nice to bring my small(for me) thinkpad and with one click and pressing 1 button I have a multi monitor setup. The triplehead2go is great and all but the top to bottom res is too low.

Im a system admin and I max 2 24in LCDs at work easily, so having more then 2 would be nice. I only do casual gaming, and even then its in windowed mode running at 1440x900.

I find even with homework that my 2 22" 1080ps are usually maxed out. One screen with what I am working on, with the other screen what I am working off of. At times, three would be nice. Though, I only game on one at a time.

you only focus on one but the others let you see even further and you will notice things out the corner of your eye you normally wouldn't see which helps me live longer :p

I am so tempted to get dual 5870s and a 3rd 24" then turn them all vertical and side by side......

Crysis will be rather fun then I think

And still unplayable on high :D

As for multi monitor work, stats are high for a 2nd monitor boosting productivity as high as like 60% depending on what your doing, a 3rd screen though does not add much to the mix.

I have to find things for my 3rd screen to do while doing work but the 2nd screen comes in handy all the time.

Usually right monitor can have the music player to itself and the other 2 will be my active work monitors. When I say work that means photoshop or reading the web lol, at real work where I am now I just have 1 screen :( well two kinda I have the laptop and the desktop but I cant really use them together.

Moo you never told me if my hex edit file worked for you in prototype, it should have as I tested it this morning but edited mine for 5760x1200, the 5870 ran 30-45fps at all times so it was nice and playable. Game looked amazing on 3 screens, also game L4D2 a trial run on 3 screens, I was not super impressed :( Torchlight is another absolutely amazing game with full support for 3 screens, and it actually comes in very handy.

I was never claiming the 3rd screen for productivity haha, mainly just to say I could ;)

And ya about being playable :(

My GTX 275 SLI can max Crysis (Very High no AA - 45 fps) at 1920x1200, guess 3x that would be pushing it a bit much? lol

See I use 2 now and max them way too easily with things on top of each other. With some more real estate Id be able to push the overflow to that monitor. Although gaming would be great on 3 LCDs, my thinkpad is the only PC I have currently so even if I got a spliter it wouldn't run anything. Heck WoW would be choppy.
