    Scratch on my Brand NEW Vaio's front cover... any solution???

    i just got my Vaio last night and to my bad luck, it has a deep cut or scratch on its front cover... its very deep and long cut. as with paper cutter....

    im so disappointed and sorry to see that, but now i have to live with that.
    can anybody tell any solution... what can i do about it...
    any remedy...????

    have a look in you local auto shop, at some of the products to use on fine scratches, a colour liquid or paste you can apply to fill in just the the scratch.

    Send or take it back. That is suppose to be a NEW notebook with NO scratches if you bought it direct from Sony. What they'll most likey do is swap out the front cover. You have 30 to 90 days depending on the warranty to return it for any reason. I've taken or sent in past notebook back to the stores more than once and had no problems.

    Yeah, you should go and refund it. There's no way you can buff deep scratches out.

    I'll have to agree with the take it back suggestion. I could never live with it unless it I got it for free..
